Adding to our great tiller offering is our new line of reverse rotation tillers utilizing counter-rotation tines that dig deeper and faster than forward rotation models. By turning in the opposite direction the tractor is traveling, these tillers actually "pull" themselves into the ground, making them ideal for tough, compacted soils. Counter rotation tillers deliver a smoother top layer of soil by allowing ground cover to travel over the rotor top, then deposit back into the ground beneath a layer of dirt. This action helps to "chop" the weeds and overgrowth, then bury them further below the surface, creating a more finished seedbed. More often than not, users can achieve an exceptional seedbed with fewer passes required by standard, forward rotation tillers.
If your area to till is commonly moist or wet soil, rocky soil, or loose, sandy soil, then a forward rotation tiller would be a better choice for you.
